Within these pages are impressions of the world of Litterfall for the role-playing game Beetle Knight. It contains a procedure to generate a three-layered hex crawl, set in Litterfall. Notable factions, NPCs, locations, and mythology are provided for reference.
You can use the procedures in this book to build Litterfall at the table. Of if you prefer, you can use the same procedure to generate encounters ahead of time. Additionally, if you are creating your own world, you can take details and inspiration from this text and sprinkle them into your setting.
You have been sent to the Highwood region of Litterfall to investigate an Instigator who has reportedly been destabilizing the region. To learn more, you must explore for clues. But beware, the instigator is not the only threat here.
